Auditions for Secret Garden, will be held at Princeton Dance & Theater Studio in Forrestal Village on Saturday, February 20 beginning at 1:15 pm. All dancers must arrive early to register and warm up. Dancers who dance on pointe should prepare to do so. Male dancers are encouraged to audition. All dancers who do not have a driver's license must have one parent present for a mandatory meeting at TBA pm in Studio 2.
*Please note that costumes will be fit at time of audition. It is very important to show up during the appropriate time.
1:15-2:15 Mary, Dickon, Colin, Lilias, Martha, Dark Angel, Robin, Soot, Foxes, Queen Bee, Bees, Butterflies, Squirrels, Roses, Spider, Rain
Females should have a minimum of two-three years pointe training. Squirrels need acrobatic training. Approximate ages: 13-20 (CP, B7 and B6 except for Colin who can be younger and in a lower level) Please come in dancewear and ready to learn choreography.
2:15-2:30 Flies, Rosebuds, Frogs
Male and Female, Ages 5-9 (B3, B2 and B1). Dancers should have at least one year of ballet training.
2:30-3:00 Ladybugs, Rabbits, Frogs, Dark Angel Minions (This is a possible new role for 2010)
Male and Female, Ages 9-13, (B6, B5, B4 and B3) Females should be of Pre Pointe or Beginner Pointe Level.
3:00-3:30 Mr. and Mrs. Lennox, Party Attendees, Indian Servants
Male and Female, Ages 17-Adult, Dance training is preferred but not necessary.
