Community Outreach Announcing DanceFest 2012! Click The Add to Cart Button
DanceVision’s annual DanceFest is a celebration of dance for the surrounding community, with salsa, hip-hop, line-dancing, and dance improv lessons for all; sneak previews of upcoming ballet performances; and a variety of crafts for all ages. Because it is so important to our organization to share our love of dance with our community, DanceVision invites local organizations such as HomeFront to attend fundraisers, community events, and performances at no charge.
The next series of PDP begins Wednesday, January 18th 1:00 - 2:15 pm In January 2011, DanceVision partnered with The Parkinson Alliance, and the Dance for PD organization—founded by Mark Morris and David Leventhal—to host a free Master Class for persons with Parkinson’s disease. The class empowers those afflicted with Parkinson’s disease, their partners, caregivers, and friends to enjoy movement, music, and dance. This was the first class of its kind in New Jersey, and DanceVision has made Princeton Dance for Parkinson classes a recurring event.
D.A.N.C.E., Dance As a Necessary Component of Education, is the dance education program of Dancevision, Inc.
